First responders from the Mahopac Falls Volunteer Fire Department, paramedics and police responded to the intersection of Baldwin Place Road and Stillwater Road shortly after 4 a.m. on Friday, Aug. 16, when a car rolled over before coming to a crashing halt against a tree, according to Jack Casey of the Mahopac Falls Volunteer Fire Department.
Officials said that the driver was able to escape the car, and was out of the vehicle when first responders arrived, and he was treated at the scene by paramedics.
The road was temporarily closed while tow truck operators attempted to winch the car out over the stone wall. The report of the driver was not immediately available on Friday morning.
